Living Waters resort

Quiet and beautiful place We stayed here for three nights and were well looked after by Beatrice. The grounds are beautiful and it is evident that they were once very majestic but now some parts are a bit run down and it could probably do with some more investment and care. Although it is a very large area to upkeep I am sure. Our cottage was comfortable and we enjoyed having chairs in the balcony and the fanatic view of the source of the Nile. ( unfortunately this lodge does not offer accommodation for drivers though so do not book wit if you have a driver. We also had hot water and wifi even in the room. We also had shower gel which was a nice luxury. The breakfast was great and very large and freshly made. We absolutely loved the fruit juice and fruit salad. We also had dinner here once which was delicious ( chicken curry) but we were a bit disappointed that they have 4 menu boards around the walls and those foods are not actually available so we went out for dinner the other two nights.

Very beautiful place! I thought I had been to beautiful places in Jinja until I went to this resort. It's very serene. Has breathtaking views coupled with beautiful cottages and luxury tents which are all facing the River. This place is a must visit for all looking for a quiet peaceful serene place in Jinja. I will surely go back!

Wonderful views This side of the Nile is peaceful and quiet unlike the Eastern side after you cross over the bridge into Jinja from Kampala. The resort has wonderful lodges overlooking the source, so peaceful. Boat rides to the source are only 25k ugx, entry fee is about 10 or 20k ugx.

not the sound of silence but frogs This resort is located in a quiet neighborhood. As we arrived late we were allowed to cook our dinner on the porch. The Room is spacious and clean and there is a shower with hot water. All rooms have an amazing view of the source of the Nile.

Amazing view I went there just to get out of town and relax my mind. It was the best decision... The view is to die for..... Very Beautiful. The peace and quiet is exactly what my mind needed. It's not a place with a lot of activity and therefore not entertaining for kids. The cottages have a unique touch... I loved it. I can't wait to go back

Permanenza al Delta del Nilo Proprio di fronte al punto in cui sorge il Nilo dal lago vittoria, offre un bel panorama sullo stesso. Le camere e il bagno sono buone e sono costruite su palafitte. La cena e la colazione sono buone. Piccole scimmie si aggirano nel parco. Personale molto gentile. Unico neo: attenzione ai moscerini, chiudete bene le finestre .

Beautiful place, near to the source of the Nile! What a nice view from the lodge/tent. Amazing. The tents where very good. The staff very friendly and professional. The place where you can eat was a little bit boring. They can make it more atmospheric. Things to do: from there you can ask if they wil bring you to the source of the Nile. There is someone who can tell you a lot. From there you can go to the city Jinja. A lot to do and to see. The next day we went rafting. The Raft organisation will pick you up and bring you back. We booked by: Raft Ugand (Dennis Ntege) Very good and professional.

Views are amazing Very friendly staff and amazing views. Definitely take the boat tour from the resort - the guide’s knowledge on wildlife is outstanding. Two types of accommodation - both very nicely presented and clean.

Wonderful and relaxing days high above the source of the Nile and Lake Victoria The Living Waters Resort is idyllically situated above the banks of the Nile and offers a beautiful view at the source of the Nile and Lake Victoria. The breakfast and the kitchen in general are excellent. We were especially impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the entire staff and the owners, who helped us with all questions and always had time for interesting conversations. We are looking forward to our next stay there.
